This week Mr.Mangini suprised us by making us present our AMA projects. Yay! That was complete sarcasm. (Sorry Mangini) I DREAD public speaking and my paper was about a very personal topic. My palms were sweaty my heart was racing and thought for sure I was going to have a panic attack. Then he decided to tell us after we read our speech's the class was going to give us criticism. I quickly thought of a plan on how to escape. Pull the fire alarm? Or chug a bunch of water until I throw up. I brought up my weebly page and went over my paper quickly. Then I saw I had a few comments. They were from a few classmates commending me on opening up in my paper, one in particular said that they had suffered through similar issues. That encouraged me more than anything that I would be okay. So thank you to those who have reached out to me and not made me feel like a freakazoid about getting so personal! Thankfully we ran out of time before it was time to present. I had time to think about what I would say and how I would present. I didn't understand at first the point of presenting our projects. But now I sort've understand. Sure we see each other once a week in class we and we read each other's blog's but this gave us a chance to see a different personal side. I appreciate Mr.Mangini for giving us that opportunity. I enjoyed all of your AMA presentation's and hope you'll enjoy mine as well!

Well this past weekend was my birthday. Nothing special, after all nobody likes you when you're 23. Friday my daughter (Giovanna) decided I was going to buy her new sneakers for her birthday. After searching for hours we finally found the perfect pair. I've never met a girl so is so obsessed with Jordan's or the color blue. Saturday I coach Giovanna's soccer team. Trying to get 13 four year old's to all shoot in the same net is like trying to get a dog to walk on it hind legs. After an hour of a couple kids crying, sitting on the grass and picking it, and the few actually grasping the concept of soccer we headed home. Since Giovanna didn't trip anyone or take the ball and run off the field with it, I rewarded her with her favorite dinner at Nifty Fifty's. Sunday came (my birthday) and I woke up to her in my face screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLD LADY. Ah just what I wanted to hear. We got up got dressed and headed down to 9th street for the St.Nick's festival. After stuffing our faces full of Isgro's cannoli's and sausage and pepper's we headed to my mothers house for my birthday party. It was a pretty good weekend!
