School: Well last week I was not in class, due to the papal visit and having to work. But I imagine per usual Mr. Mangini kept the class well entertained. In an earlier weekly post we wrote about our writing processes, this week we were asked whether or not we stuck to ours. I may not do it step by step but for the most part I believe I've stuck to it and it's helped me a great deal.
Home: Well we all survived the Papal Visit! We had 2,000 extra staff on and needless to say it was a full house! Not much went on though it was so strange to see people walking in the middle of the streets with no cars around. Friday night it looked like a zombie apocalypse. Finally I was sent home on Sunday morning. I had to walk all the way out of the traffic box and catch a cab. God I was never more happy to see my bed or shower in my life! Of course my 4 year old was full of energy when I got home. So my boyfriend and I took her to Linvilla for the day! Monday came around and I discovered my car had a huge transmission problem, and despite being brand new I couldn't win a Lemon Law case. So Wednesday night I went and picked up my brand new car!
